CAC Men’s Study Group

Ephesians 3:16-19 – By the Word and grace of God, the Men’s Study Group of CAC exists to introduce men to Jesus Christ; develop Godly character through a deeper relationship with Him and other men; and equip men to serve and mentor other men according to the vision imparted from the pulpit of CAC as delivered by God through the Pastor.

Objective:

The Strengthening/Empowerment of the “inner man” individually and as a group (CAC Men’s group) through the consistent study of; understanding of, and propagation of the Word of God.

We are very desirous of the presence of the Lord in all of our events. In light of this desire, it is important to follow God’s ordained order of authority. To ensure we have His anointing and blessing at our events, we must submit to His divine authority and to each other.

Example – 1 Chronicles 12:32-33 “And the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.”

The balance between the pulpit and study is this – we often, if not mostly, receive answers to our questions during the preaching of the Word of God. However, this does not indicate we will only receive answers through the preached Word of God. God speaks to us through Hi s Word in prayer and personal devotion/study.

The Bible is very clear we are to “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (2 Tim 2:15). In light of this we are going to add personal and group Study to the absolutely essential need for hearing the preached Word of God as indicated in His Word; “For after that in the wisdom of God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe” (1 Cor 1:21) and “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?… So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Rom 10:14, part of 15 and 17) and many others.
