The Saturday March for Babies event was a great success! The cloudy skies weren't able to subdue the brightness displayed by the 30 Calvary Angels who braved the Saturday morning chill. The walk started off with a bang, when we learned that Baby Ella (whom we've all been praying for) is becoming a popular baby throughout March of Dimes. Over 400 people were walking for Baby Ella! This was a pleasant surprise to the Monteith's, and it provided us with a little more fuel to complete our five-mile walk!
As of last count, CAC has raised $1,685 for March of Dimes, which doesn't include the 2:1 match by Jackson (Tracy Lovato's employer). Special recognition goes to Lena Dickson. She was the team's leading fundraiser, raising $675!
