In the Old Testament a prophecy was given that a Son would be born, upon Whose shoulders the government would rest (Isaiah 9:6). Yet, a later prophecy stated that the strength of the Lord would be revealed through One Who would bear our grieves and be smitten (Isaiah 53). The drama, “Isaiah’s Dream” connected those two seemingly polarized prophecies and showed that through His sufferings, Jesus Christ fulfilled them. God revealed Himself by coming to earth in the form of humanity and gave His life at Calvary. Praise the Lamb, by Whom our sins are washed away!
Brother Steve Lloyd shared his vision of Isaiah’s dream and our visiting friend from Iowa, Brother Terry Vik, blessed us by molding “Isaiah’s Dream” into a drama. The character of Isaiah was effectively performed by Brother Adrian Elias and Jesus Christ was passionately performed by Brother Sam Diaz. The two-show event, which was introduced by the ever-so-cute children’s choir, led by Sister Brittany Ruby, had inspirational Easter songs woven throughout by Sister Alison Kelly. Easter 2011 was truly a time of celebrating the amazing revelation of God in Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 3:16)!
