Before we put on our yellow cleaning gloves in preparation for our Mile High Conference 2008, our ladies gathered for a time of joy. Over a lemon-themed brunch, we were encouraged to make lemonade out of the lemons that life provides. We were provoked to “count it all joy” in temptations, for by them we are made “perfect and entire, wanting nothing” (James 1:2-4). Sharing of favorite quotes motivated us to be grateful for the trying fire that will make us like gold (Job 23:10).
