Pretty in pink, our annual ladies tea was a huge success, as friends from the community joined us in supporting breast cancer awareness month. Net profits from tickets and items sold were donated to the awareness foundation. There was plenty of shopping to do! Unique, pink items were available through a silent auction. Goodies ranged from hand-fashioned purses, bags, aprons, quilts and scarves to a teapot-patterned quilt, overseen by Sis. Tomasita! Another Cisneros Center representative,
our resident doctor, Sis. Rosa, provided helpful information with her talk and hand-outs. At the end of her supportive talk,
Sis. LaRonda presented our breast cancer survivors with a book of encouragement and a pink rose. Thanks to Sis. Alison
for another perfectly balanced combination of an exciting event and ways to bless our sisters!
