The theme of a Friendship Tea was fitting for our bishop’s wife, as we celebrated her birthday! The Victorian, antique setting created the environment for reminiscing and sharing stories with friends, old and new. Sis. Jan Haymon was the crowing flower among the bouquets of lilacs. Delicious petite sandwiches and pastries were accompanied by sweet strawberry water and almond lavender tea. A craft sale including prayer baskets, wreaths, & hats gave everyone a chance to take home a memoir of the special day. It was a treat to have tea with our friends and to meet new friends!
