Our annual ladies retreat started with a Friday night of fun, with games, snacks, and prayer. We were blessed to hear testimonies and messages on the theme of “Treasure in Jars of Clay.” This was beautifully conveyed by neighboring pastor’s wife, Sister Shaw, Sister Jan Haymon, Sister LaRonda Haymon, and Sister Alison Kelly. These ladies spoke on the broken vessel, the treasure of the Holy Ghost in our earthen vessel, various vessels in the Bible, and the anointed vessel, respectively. Lunch was tastefully done in the form of a mini-taste fair.
